In 2010 internationally acclaimed German soprano Sigune von Osten performed an especially composed piece to accompany Georgina Starr’s THEDA. Sigune von Osten has previously worked with John Cage, Olivier Messiaen & Luigi Nono and has sung more than 100 world premieres written for her unique voice. THEDA was performed at Berlin’s former silent movie theatre ‘Delphi’ which opened its doors in 1929. In 2011 von Osten performed THEDA for a second time at The Pier Theatre in Bournemouth.
